Stay in the Sun as You Are is a four-song cycle based on the poems of Tess Taylor.  This cycle was commissioned by soprano Michele Kennedy and includes poems that deal with geography, loss and imagination.

Michele premiered the full cycle with pianist Emily Manzo on June 12, 2017 at Scholes Street Studio in Brooklyn, NY.
